Worship!

Jack Hayford told me once… “If worship doesn’t change your life, then you need to change your worship.”  If you are a worship leader or called to worship, don’t let those under your care leave without a changing experience. Don’t entertain them. Don’t try to be like the world. Don’t do it to look like a superstar. You’re not. You have a responsibility to get them over to the other side and put them into the arms of the only one who can change their lives. It’s a “casting of all your cares” – not upon the church – but on the Lord. Close your eyes, open your heart, ask the Holy Spirit to get you the arms of your Father… because He knows the way. Shut out everyone and everything and just get alone with Him today.  Here are some anointed worshippers who are going to lead you over… let them. “Could you not pray and worship with Him for one hour?”  Moments in His presence can do more than years of just singing in the presence of the world around you. “Lord – I just want to be broken in your presence – safe in your arms.”
